10 handed paradise 1/2 NL
Im in MP2 with AK s and make it 11 to go with one limper MP3 calls and the UTG limper goes all in for 22 total which means he was dealt 2 cards I raise it to 55 to try and get it heads up for the main pot Well MP3 goes all in and has me covered ( I had 200 total to start the hand) I have folded KK in the past on 2 occasions when I thought I was beat but after I let the timer run almost all the way down I determined he also wanted this hand heads up- and worst case for me had a mid pair but it was about 145 to call which gave me about 2-1 odds The way to hand played out I felt he knew I was trying to get heads up and wasnt gonna take that crap from me When the river was an ace I breathed a sigh of relief Am i crazy for making this call? |

Doesn't look horrible if you've got a good feel for the table and you can read your opponent for a less than mega hand. Remember, even though AA and KK crush it, AKs is still the third best hand

Well, If you have AK it is half as likely that someone else has AA or KK than if you had QQ. So I think depending on the situation I would rather have AK than QQ facing an all in.
