Default Should AJ0 be played short handed preflop in UTG

should AJo be played in UTG in a shorthanded $50 NL game on PP???

limp and no call on an opened pot? or just fold?

raise UTG in shorthanded game. play it preflop like you are in MP and first in in a ring game.

that said, you don't lose a helluva lot by playing it a little lighter.

I limp it a lot of the time at an aggresive table hopeing that someone late raises the pot with a weaker holding (then I just call). If the table is passive or the mood strikes me I raise. If I catch a flop with an ace or a jack high flop I play the hand real fast (even in a raised pot). I don't worry about paying off a better ace or an overpair with AJ in 6max. If it happenes - it happens. I think it is far more likely that I get paid off by a weaker ace or a weaker jack. Some flops I would be more careful about (for example something like a str8y J high flop would slow me down).
