I can't see anything wrong with the way you played it. I probably would have bet a little more on the flop, but your bet is certainly within the reasonable range, and I doubt it would have made any difference here.

Why did you call the river?

Also, generally speaking, if I think I have the best hand on the flop, H/U, and there is a flush draw on the board, I think it's smart to bet like 110% of the pot.

He has a straight? I'm not putting him on a flush or higher straight that fast, given what villain could have.

Yeah Scuba, stop minimally scanning the threads, handing out vague questions like a trigger happy Socratic guru and bumpin' up your post count.

I tend to call preflop in this spot, but who am I to say that it's bad to raise a bunch of limpers with what is likely the best hand. It's just not my style in these situations in sit and gos.

On the flop, assuming I raised preflop, I'd probably just push allin. The board is scary, there is over 400 chips in the pot, you likely have the best hand and really don't want to give cheap cards here. They will call you with crap sometimes, but also might fold hands that you don't want sticking around.
I don't like betting 250 and folding to check raise (not that I am assuming you'd do this), it's far too easy to be creative on a flop like this with something like 88, A9 or 2 spades.
