Default drunken poker

Anyone ever come home late at night from the bars, and for some reason you decide to play poker. I have done it the last couple weekends. Fortanutely I have had good outings, but I am worried that it could kill my bankroll some night if I play bad (due to alcohol making me think I can hit that 2 outer).
One good thing is that it seems late at night the play is a lot looser, so maybe I should stay sober and come home and play.

If you're gonna do this, just play at stakes well below your normal level. Then you can have the fun of drunken poker with no risk to your BR.

BTW this is clearly a poker topic in OOT, not looked highly upon in here.

i like playing micro NLO/8 at the end of a drunken night. when a bad session costs you less than the price of a beer, it's good times.

once i played in a sit and go, passed out with ~6 people left, and made the money. i was very surprised at the extra money in my account.

thats great,
nice thing to wake up to, extra money, and no idea how you got it.
It is kind of fun to do, I guess I better make sure I play low limits to avoid any real damage. Glad to hear I'm not the only one who enjoys it now and again.

thanks for the replies, next time I'll make sure my post here is way way off the topic.

I think after 11:30 Pm CST 90% of the players on the Pokerstars .02/.04-.05/.1 are drunk.

If you're going to play poker drunk, then this is the book for you.

This came from a thread in Books/Software about Ed Miller's new book. It made me laugh so hard that I thought it had to be shared here. There are a couple other funny covers.

It's 8pm and I'm drunk. I'm playing poker while I wait to GO OUT to the bars. I'm usually way to drunk to do anything, let alone play poker, when I get home.
