What would you have done differently?
I have played with button before and he wants to bust me. I can feel it. He refuses to let a pot go if I am in it and is constantly tryiing to outplay me.

The turn bet was a waste of chips. He certainly wasn't going to fold for 400, and you were telegraphing your weakness. You have a pretty weak hand. You could try to take it on the turn with a serious bet, but I think I would check/fold.
