Butterfly. Awesome movie about La Guerra Civil (the civil war) in Spain. It's in Spanish, but with subtitles. I watched in spanish class this year. Wicked deep.

13 going on 30 looks horrible, but Charles Taylor from Salon.com, who's like the ultimate snob loved it. Had it on his 2004 top 10...

The plot was a little bizarre, but I really liked the dialogue and the movie overall. I'm a fan of any film by David Mamet.

EDIT: Starsky & Hutch. Okay, but not as funny as Zoolander or even Dodgeball.

13 Going on 30. Meh.

It's been said before, but The Fog of War is outstanding.

Great movie, the best of 2002 in my opinion.

Starsky & Hutch is alright. I'm a big owen wilson fan and that was the only reason why I watched it. Snoop could have been featured more.

Spartan - Acutally, I would like a review on this movie. All the reviews I've read on this have been mixed.

Happy viewings...

Seabiscuit is a good feel good movie, but not great by any means.

Watched this tonight. So disappointing. Vaugh, Stiller, Wilson. I like all these guys. And a few friends loved this movie. I did not think it was very good at all.

I did, however, have a bottle of Wakatake Daiginjo Onikoroshi (Devil Killer) sake while watching it. The sake was awesome.

I agree with Felson on Spartan. Mamet is really awesome, and this movie is definitely worthwhile. Given your list here I'd rank this as #1 or #2 to watch battling only Seabiscuit for the #1 slot.

Ditto the comments about Spartan and Fog of War, but I think I liked Spartan a little better than felson seemed to. Some specific lines are great and some of the scenes are much better than they deserve to be.

I haven't seen it but a friend claims that the Lips and Shins Austin City Limits is quite good and I would trust her judgement.

EDIT: For clarity.
