Party Poker v Empire v Eurobet - Rakeback question

I intend to leave Party Poker to setup a new account someplace else so that I can get a rakeback program setup. Any opinions as to which people like better?

Empire or Eurobet? They look the same to me. furthermore, the Total players numbers for all three sites are always the same, and they always change at the same time to the same number. So it's essentially impossible to tell the total volume at any one site.

My fear is that Empire or Eurobet is not as fishy (yummy) as the Party. Any thoughts?

I don't play Eurobet but I believe it has one of those fiddly sportsbook front ends where you have to move your money from book to poker and back again.

Hardly a problem, but might be the difference all other things being equal.

I believe Empire has more reload bonuses too (although these come out of your rakeback anyway)

They are all the same fishiness, the only difference is the multi table tourneys, otherwise you are playing the same players.

So essentially when I sitdown at an open table, someone could be sitting next to me who is really at empire, not Party?

Precisely.

They have their own multi tables, for instance Party is the only one that runs PPM events and Empire has some reasonable guaranteed events, but everything else is identical, and no, you can't sit at the same table as yourself [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

The FAQ in the internet gambling forum explains a little more about it.
The registry key thing might be out of date, but it would be your affiliate's job to tell you how to sign up the second account.

Tell me if this sounds right, but it's my understanding that I first must terminate my Party Poker account, and then, open my empire account to get the rakeback setup. Does that sound right?

BTW, it's quite early in England right now. Do you rise early to play, or do you go all night?

There are other ways to do it, most of them not allowed but people do them anyway.

I'm not willing to go into it in depth, but it's hinted at in the FAQ and I'm sure your affiliate will know how to do it.

I try to catch the later games, so I tend to be up all night and come back here to wind-down.

Eurobet does offer Party Poker Millions. You do not need to terminate your Party account.

I've got a rakeback deal through Eurobet. I signed up a week ago and I get a straight 25% back in cash.

If you sign up with Eurobet, you don't need to cancel your Party account. That's probably true for Empire, also. My affiliate created my Eurobet account for me, then sent me the user name and password. Once I had the account info, I just needed to sign into the Eurobet client once through a computer that had never had Party or a Party skin installed on it.

One of my non-poker playing friends let me use his computer to login for the first time. On his computer, I downloaded the Eurobet client, installed it, logged in, changed my password, logged off, and then uninstalled the Eurobet client.

Now I can login to Eurobet from the same computer from which I login to Party. I can even login to Party and Eurobet on my computer at the same time.

I went with Eurobet because the 25% cashback was the best deal I found. The best deal I found with PokerNow was 23%. However, on the "Internet" forum, someone the other day said they were getting 28% back from Empire. 28% back would have netted me another $400 to $600 per year, so I would have signed up for that deal if I would have known about it.

As far as SnGs go, I'm playing against the same players and at the same tables at Eurobet as I was at Party. The only change is the color of the table and the logo on the table which now says "Eurobet" instead of "PartyPoker."

The Eurobet cashier is a little clunky, but I haven't had any trouble with it yet. It's just not as clean as Pary's cashier.

Good luck choosing an affiliate. It's definitely something every poker player should do. I signed up with Eurobet 7 days ago and already have $100 in my rakeback account, which came from mostly playing the $22 and $33 SnGs.
