Default How do you battle from the blinds with a reasonable to good hand?

Say for some ungodly reason its just down to the blinds and you pick up a great hand. Either in the SB or BB. What are your thoughts on raiseing or just calling/checking to let the other guy see the flop. Then what about lesser hands like KQ AJ, AT where they are far better than the average hand, but not fantastic? When ever this happens to me I never feel as though I am playing it the right way.
