Default What is the greatest photo of all time?

Or just, post a great photo. Sorry to be anal, but please don't post gross out or hot lady photos, they have their place, but in a different thread. I am looking for photos with "wow" factor.

I don't know how to post images, but if someone could this for me, I would be grateful. My vote goes to a photo from Vietnam. Some young Vietnamese man is being shot by a general. The photo is taken as the photo is halfway through his head. It entered via the right hand side of his body, but you can see that it his left hand side of his body that is dead, whilst the right hand side seems normal.

I like this photo a lot, it was taken in 1850 by Gustave Le Gray. It's from a negative on salt paper or something, the first time I saw it I thought it was a drawing.

Default YES

It looks much better blown up, the difference between the two halfs of his body is much more evident.

Of course, this is not all down to brilliant photography. The timing involved is incredibly lucky. Still, "Wow".

I've seen this photo numerous times, and I don't think that half of his body is dead... I think that this is what a face would like whenever a bullet would enter from that side, for not just an instant but a little longer.

This was one which came to mind. Although, I don't rate it as the greatest.

It's a polaroid take by Mary Moorman at the exact moment President Kennedy is struck in the head.

The famous grassy knoll and picket fence are in the background. The photograph has been used by both sides of the Kennedy assassination debate to support and debunk arguements.

BTW, this was actually captured on color video (film) also. Suffice it to say a fountain of blood comes out when he hits the deck.

this is the one i thought of; it's not "great" in any edifying sense, but I think it's one that is haunting and memorable...
