A9s, a routine hand?
Online 5/10 game.
Very loose passive limps in MP, slightly loose passive limps on the button. SB folds. I have A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] in the BB, and raise. Both call. Flop J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. I bet..... |

Re: A9s, a routine hand?
I like it.
Do you fold immediately to a raise? Also, if you are merely called, are you going to bet the turn again, or c/fold? |

Re: A9s, a routine hand?
Hey Bob,
I don't always raise here, but with your description of the limpers I think it's a must. Flop follow-through looks standard, I like it. |

Looks routine to me.

A raise from either of these passive players is scary. I couldn't fold fast enough if they raised. Also, if you are merely called, are you going to bet the turn again, or c/fold? If MP calls, I bet again. If the button calls, I check/fold. |

Re: A9s, a routine hand?
It looks good to me.
I should probably make more preflop raises like this one out of the blinds than I do. Against these opponents, the chances that your hand is best do seem very good. And if it was best to begin with, there's a good chance the flop didn't change that. The very loose-passive MP in particular may find a reason to call, so getting called will be hard to interpret. But I'm thinking it won't be too difficult to figure out what to do if raised. |

Results.
MP the loose loose guy folded.
The slightly loose player on the button took about 20 seconds, and then folded. |
