Re: High Roller: The Stu Ungar Story (x-posted)
it really amazes me that in today's poker-crazed culture this movie can't get to the big screen.

Re: High Roller: The Stu Ungar Story (x-posted)
My guess is that if the movie were even remotely good, it would have been released to the big screen.

High Roller: The Stu Ungar Story Director: A.W. VIDMER 2004 Synopsis: Michael Imperioli stars in the true story of Stuey Ungar, the youngest and three-time champion of the World Series of Poker, whose personal demons would always, overshadowed his achievements. [/ QUOTE ] This is the most poorly written synopsis I've ever seen in a reputable online publication. |

Re: High Roller: The Stu Ungar Story (x-posted)
The clips shown on the website look absolutely awesome.
My favorite "Sopranos" episodes, and even favorite "Sopranos" moments, all feature Michael I. I just saw a re-run of David Caruso's last NYPDBlue episode, and Michael was awesome in THAT. The guy is great in everything I've seen him do. "Why don't you go fxck yourself, Tommy?" |
