it really amazes me that in today's poker-crazed culture this movie can't get to the big screen.

My guess is that if the movie were even remotely good, it would have been released to the big screen.

High Roller: The Stu Ungar Story
Director: A.W. VIDMER 2004
Synopsis: Michael Imperioli stars in the true story of Stuey Ungar, the youngest and three-time champion of the World Series of Poker, whose personal demons would always, overshadowed his achievements.

This is the most poorly written synopsis I've ever seen in a reputable online publication.

The clips shown on the website look absolutely awesome.

My favorite "Sopranos" episodes, and even favorite "Sopranos" moments, all feature Michael I. I just saw a re-run of David Caruso's last NYPDBlue episode, and Michael was awesome in THAT. The guy is great in everything I've seen him do.

"Why don't you go fxck yourself, Tommy?"
