Default Trading Futures and Commodities

Where can I find price quotes for these...or a list of symbols for different commodities if thats how it works...and can I trade them via my regular online brokerage?

Thanks for the help!

Ray,

I have read all about the risks of trading futures and dont worry...im not going to start any time soon.

That doesnt mean that I shouldnt be able to look at prices etc.

Either way...thanks for the warning!

Ameritrade, for example, doesn't trade either of these. I don't think the other deep discount brokerages do either.

You will need to find a Futures Broker. They are usually seperate from stock brokerages. Wont be hard to find, there are many. Be freakin' carefull!!! These vehicles are highly leveraged and can wipe you out in an instant on a bad trade. ALWAYS, ALWAYS use a stop loss trading leveraged positions. Paper trade for a long time before committing real money!
