Before the playoffs, a friend of mine started a Super Bowl pool. Really basic, everyone picks a team and pays the same amount. If your team wins the Super Bowl, you're paid 8-1 on your play. If your team loses in the SB, you get about 2-1.
I picked the Pats because this was paying 8-1 whereas every site was paying about 3-1 or so. Is it worth putting a play on Philly to hedge this? |

Since you can get Philly at +7 absolutely, it is like free money. I am assuming there is no point spread involved in your pool wager.

Nope...no spread. Just a straight up win gets me 8-1.
So best case scenerio, I could take Philly +7 and win both bets if the Pats win but don't cover. Sounds like a plan! |

The only question I have is how you were lucky enough to get the Pats in this pool?
