Default online \"mini\" tournaments

Most of the online sites have small "sit and go" tournaments where you play 10 players and pay 10 bucks plus a one dollar fee for tournament. This is a fee of 1% of the total tournament prize money. If you are a good player can that fee be overcome or is this just not worth it?

I have built half my bankroll in 10/20/30 limit tournaments on paradise.

The $10 tournaments gave an earn of ca. $8 pr tournament

The $20 tournaments gave an earn of ca. $20 pr tournament

The $30 tournaments gave an earn of ca. 35$ pr tournament (less than 100 tournaments).

I mostly play cash games now, but I think the 1 table tournament is a great way of building a bankroll, as it seems to me the variance is less.

In the 10's and 20's i follow a simple strategy of very tight in the beginning and very loose agressive later.

The 30's are in my opinion a little tougher (even if I have better results, but that could be due to playing fewer).
