I'm more profitable than Amazon.com! I'm sure most businesses are more profitable than Amazon.com. (their most recent quarter, at least). - Tony |

Re: how much is paradise making
04/27/2002 9:15PM CST Hold Em $20-40 Pot - Hands/hr $160 - 57 $236 - 59 $197 - 64 --------------- $171 + $177 + $192 =============== $540 per hour in rake $15-30 $177 - 76 $162 - 65 $234 - 55 -------------- $228 + $195 + $165 =============== $588 per hour in rake $10-20 $97 - 101 $66 - 120+ -------------- $303 + $360 ============== $663 per hour in rake Rest...too many to list probably an additional $5000+ per hour in rakes. Tourneys: $50 x2 $30 x2 $20 x4 $10 x13 --------- $100 + $60 + $80 + $130 $370 at any given time...say per hour..... NL $90 x1 $50 x4 $30 x6 $20 x5 $10 x17 ======== $90 + $200 + $180 + $100 + $170 ----------- $740 at any given time...say per hour... Estimate: I'd say at least $8,000 per hour or $192,000 per day, or $70,080,000 per year. |

Re: how much is paradise making
You are over-evaluating as there is not generaly 3 20/40 games going. Right now there is only 1 with 4 players, avrg pot $220, 120+ hand/hr. Not to say that paradise does not make a bucke load of $$. Gatlif |

Re: how much is paradise making
Consider this. My estimates didn't include any omaha tables, any stud tables, or any 1-1 tables. All I accounted for was HE and Tourney tables... Right now (Sunday 8:52AM CST) there are 108 active tables, 56 of them play tables. That leaves 52 active real money tables. Consider an average rake of $1.50 and an average of say 60 hands per hour. 52 * 60 * 1.50 = $4680 rake per hour and there are 0 tournaments running because of the time. Last night when I made my initial estimates there were over 225 active tables. So maybe their average over the entire week is something like $5000 rake per hour and my figures were a tad high. They're still making more money in one day than most posters here make in a year. |

Re: how much is paradise making
Since at least 50% of players are bots you should cut your estimate in half! |
