pretty good table that i\'m on right now... am i adjusting right?
so i'm playing in a limit omaha high 1/2 game that's got some pretty great action going, i'd say about 30% of pots are capped preflop, i can't remember the last one that wasn't raised.
there's a world class mainiac on my left, he's playing raise/fold basically (more raising than folding) he's got a couple hundred dollars left, so i'm not going anywhere till he does. there are also a bunch of calling stations/cash machienes acting after the mainiac, and the only other good player (perhaps the only.) is two to my right. so i am: playing very tight staying out of the appearently skilled player's way letting the mainiac make my raises until the timing is perfect... then POW! how else can i adjust my game to take advantage? i'm up 26BB in less than an hour, and the cards have been cold. and no, i'm not telling where it is. Thanks! |

Something to consider. If you are in late position with several limpers before, I might raise with my semi-good holdings with a good chance that the maniac will 3-bet and isolate himself (holding crap) with you.
