Default Moving up the PP Steps

The past week or so I've been moving up the PP Steps and am now at Step 4. So far it has been fairly routine. In fact, I have found it somewhat easier than placing or winning a $10 or $10 2-Table SnG.

One reason for that is, of course, that you only have to hold on until 4th (or 6th in Step 3) to achieve your goal--moving up.

Anyway, I'm wondering if I will run into superior players (superior to what I've seen so far) in the next two steps. I keep reading here about some of you are skipping the first 3 or 4 steps to pick off the novices who moved up through the ranks...

I'm assuming that selective-agressive play can still win the day. And, of course, staying out of traps.
