I'd raise to a smaller amount, say 400 or 500 on the river, rather than 1360, in an attempt to bleed more chips from MP2. The only hands you're in trouble against are JT and JQ and, since you were willing to put him all in, you're obviously willing to take the "risk" and call if he goes all-in after your smaller raise. I think he would have at least called a smaller raise (based on his turn and river bets), and may have gone over the top, and either one nets you more chips.

i decided on the turn that it was likely he had a 9. once he bet the river, i decided that he probably wouldn't fold to a 9 for any amount, so it seemed like a good time to overbet.

if he didn't have a 9, i can't see him calling any check-raise on the river.
