Default Home Tourney

Home tourney 7 left pays 3 places. Blinds 500-1000 I'm in BB with about 7500. Loose utg limps, tight mp makes it 10,000. Loose button calls I fold q2 spades. After I got knocked out a few hands later I felt like I should have got it all in there. I know the guy on my left was going to call. He had about 5000,so I would have been gettin 3-1 on my money, even though I knew the raiser had AA or KK. What say yall? Thanks. Ray.

How deep are the stacks? No you should not get all your money in unless you will be eaten up by the blinds in the next round or so, even then, with Q2s??

Also, how did the raiser make it 10,000 when the BB was 7,500.. guessing since this is a home game there is no minimum raise.

You might have better luck with this question in one of the tournament forums.

You wanted to take Q2s against AA/KK at 3/1?

You would only need about 5.48 : 1 for it to be a break-even call.

So, a big "good fold" to the original poster.

Agree

And why would someone raise that big with AA, KK going in against a short stack, I would want to induce a steal from you instead
