What size cards for your home games?
www.homepokertourney.com offers the following:
[ QUOTE ] Standard playing cards are 3.5" long. Poker (Wide) size cards are 2.5" (62mm) wide and Bridge size cards are 2.25" (57mm) wide. Most casinos and poker rooms use bridge size (yes, bridge) cards because they are easier to handle and shuffle than the larger poker size cards. People with small hands definitely prefer the smaller size of the bridge size cards but many old-timers find that they feel kinda 'light-weight' after playing with the wide size cards. [/ QUOTE ] |

Re: What size cards for your home games?
Bridge. I've never seen wide cards in a casino. Last time I played with wide cards, they felt strange to me.

Re: What size cards for your home games?
I have both but have come to prefer bridge size. They are a bit easier to handle, but it's a very minor difference. Either one should be fine.

Re: What size cards for your home games?
We like the bridge size, like the casino poker rooms I've played in.
But the wide size is not bad at all. . . it's really personal preference. As long as they're Kems, of course! - tomb |
