Default Super Bowl pool

is anyone interested in doing one? I was thinking we could get it where there is *hopefully* 20 participants, each paying 5 dollars for 5 squares.

Here is my plan:
Once we get 20 signed up, every transfers the money to one persons account(preferably Stars because they allow for transfers this low). Once all the money is collected, all 20 names will be randomly generated into an order and people would proceed to pick one at a time a box until all were picked.

Payouts per quarter:
$25

anyone interested? maybe a $10 buy in just to make the payouts a little more fun? Any thoughts or recommendations? Anyone want to help organize it?

If anyone's interested in some higher stakes, my friend runs a pretty fun one that we could do. $100 for a square and here's the payouts :

$750 - 0,0 wins that automatically.

$250 for each score change : So if one team scores a touchdown, 6-0 will pay. If they make the extra point then 7-0 will pay.

$250 for first quarter reverse score (since actual score got paid when the score happened)

$500 for halftime reverse score

$250 for 3rd quarter reverse score

$1000 for final reverse score

final score takes the remaining pot (usually around 2,000)

It lowers payout amounts but gives you a lot more winners which usually makes people happy. I bought a square last year and won the halftime reverse score and also the 3rd quarter reverse score (no one scored in the 3rd quarter).

I wasn't trying to start it... I'm about to head out to Bumblefuck NY to do some Wetlands work so I'll be gone a few days. Just throwing that suggestion out to you if people want you to run a higher stakes pool.

I'll play, but I don't know how this "squares" thing works.

Also, I have approximately $0.43 on Stars.
