Satellite HU. Too passive with FH (cross post)
1 table tournament. 1st gets $215, 2nd $28. The first 7 busted out quickly, and we have been playing HU for a while. Villain seems to have passified since goings Heads Up! Most pots are not raised preflop. I would estimate that villain open raises 8% of pots preflop, and limps with 70%.
Villain plays very unimaginatevely. He often folds to a flop bet from me, but if I check to him on the flop he will often fire out a pot sized bet. He is capable of folding a semi-decent hand (Top pair bad kicker), if he thinks he is beat. I am quite confidnet that I can slowly grind out a win against this opponent. I have not seen him try to pull a move against me yet. I'll post my full thinking later, but for a number of reasons I thought calling was slightly better than reraising. All comments appreciated Hero (t8650) posts BB of 150 Button (t4850) posts SB of 75 Hero has 22 Button calls. Flop KJ7 Checked around Turn KJ7 K Checked around River KJ7 K 2 (300 pot) Hero bets 150, villain raises to 1100, hero calls. |
