Default Opening NE/IND Line

OLY has it at -3 +115 (NE). My guess is that IND bettors should probably bet now. I don't see this line moving to 3.5. Most likely it will move to 2.5. I think the public is going to be on IND next week. Especially with all of the "news" of injuries in NE's secondary; especially Law.

why are you guys so interested in this game? Out of the 4 games next weekend, this is one of the games to stay away from. There are much better spots/games (and by better I mean better from a betting standpoint) than this one.--Big Al--

I tend to agree with Big Al on this one. The only scenario in which I *might* play this game would be if it gets to a point to where the Colts are slight favorites (which I can easily see happening based on public opinion right now). If it gets there and I can get better than even money on the Pats to win, I would consider the Pats.

The O/U seems pretty high (51.5). It would seem a higher scoring game favors IND. I guess this line is based on NE's secondary injuries and the colts defense.
