Default building new computer problem

Pokertracker was getting unbearably slow so I just built a new comp. I'm posting from the new comp so it works fine but I'm trying to install my old hard drive because that's where all my stuff is and I want to transfer it. It's installed correctly but windows isn't detecting it. In my BIOS it isn't listed on the screen with all my installed devices but it is listed on the screen where I pick what device to boot from. So it is being detected somehow but still not working correctly. I've tried changing the jumper on the back of the drive but that hasn't helped. What else can I try doing?

What screen do you pick a device to boot from? You mean in the BIOS boot select? They all say that. My WD has a different jumper setting if it's the master or if it's the only one. Look at your new master HD to see if you need to set its jumper differently.
