Default Monday Night Game

Well, my shoe in didnt win this week but at least it didnt lose. 4-0-1 so far for the year so its hard to complain. I was wondering if anyone got the Bears at -6 1/2? I got it at -7 so I pushed. Hopefully, we can make up for it on the Monday night game. I like the Skins in this game at plus 3. I think, despite the flak he's getting in Washington, that Schottenheimer is a good coach. The Cowboys have shown me nothing so far (not that the Skins have either) but I think that they are a slightly better team and with Schottenheimer they have a little bit more of an edge. I like the Skins fairly strongly at plus 3 in this game. I wont call it my shoe in of the week but I think the Skins deserve a strong play.--Big Al--

I doubt it because I saw a lot of 7.5 on the Bears this morning. Probably only people that bought the hook made out.

I can't remember a game I had less opinion of than this one. This is a complete toss up, how you can ask horrible teams try to make you money is beyond me. One of my always applies rules...never ask a bad team to do something good for you. Just imagine if one team wins 35-7 and you have a ticket on the loser. You are going to be asking yourself "what the hell was I thinking betting on such a terrible team?" Unless its a baseball game where I am getting very good odds in a sport where bad teams win a lot of games, I almost never bet on terrible teams and this game looks like it fits that description.

I saw the Bears at -8 yesterday. I've got Washington at +4. About betting on bad teams? I'll take em when I get enough points.

Saw the Bears at -8? You don't *know* what they went off at at every major Vegas sportsbook? I thought you were one of the best in the business... (Chuckle.)

You have Washington at +4? Wow. That is the first pick I recall you posting before the game is off. Oh, you don't post b/c you're really Jim Feist and you don't give your picks away for free? Right... Lemme just get right on calling that 900 number and forking over the dough for your coin-flip.

Pffff.... You're all just feeding the monster when you respond to this person. Natedogg is more than on the mark here. He's alot more courteous than I'd be. Grow up "feisty".

I almost had a heart attack when Davis fumbled.. But there are few things in this world better than watching a last second field goal that has zero effect on the spread result..

especially if you are on the right side of the game. This had to be one of the worst games I have ever seen. But, a win is a win.--Big Al--

Did you ever hear of online books? Did you check my post below in responding to scalf where I made my picks an hour and fifteen minutes before gametime? I'm 9-2 ATS against the spread this year and 4-0 this week. Out.

Congratulations Feist, hope you made all the money this week. As for online books, I am still finding it hard to believe there was a book that would put this game up at 4. I have 12 accounts, I checked 8 or 9 of them and they all had 3, not 3.5, not 2.5, 3 and only 3. A few had Dal 3-115, but nothing close to 4. If you find books that will skew a MNF game off a key number in a low scoring game when the whole world is offering that key number, not to mention skew it by a full point, then maybe you have found El Dorado too. They put up bad numbers strange offbeat numbers at times, but books can't afford to get off course when its MNF because half the betting world is on that game, its a spot they can't make mistakes on, nor can they take chances on it either.
