10 Secnod SnG instructions (Very little meaningful content)
So I was maybe fifteen minutes into a $20 SnG when I got two pieces of bad news:
1) The in-laws were here early. 2) Their car was stuck in the snow around the corner. So I had to give my wife instructions on how to play while I was gone, which would be between ten minutes and the rest of the tourney. I went with: 1. Push any pair. 2. Push any Ace-face 3. Fold everthing else. As it turns out, she built a respectable stack before getting called by KJ when she held AK, and a J flopped. (Hard to tell weather she was looking a bit laggy, or the other guy made a lousy call.) What advice would you give? |

Re: 10 Secnod SnG instructions (Very little meaningful content)
You can't expect more really with sombody who's never played before and has no real strategy. First off I wouldn't have her employ this strategy until level 3/4, just fold all non AA,KK,QQ,AK, I would have also said that after you build a big stack ~2000+ to just fold everything to buy time until it's short handed then reusme push/fold. If the money was really important to you you could have also said to not make any calls or folds until 3-4 seconds before the time ran out, would get boring but it might have been enough time for you to get back.
