Default Playing as the big stack

How should our play change if we are the big stack? I.e. has about double the average stack size... not yet a huge lead but has everyone covered.

Keep playing tight? Get loose and see a lot of flops? Raise a lot with marginal hands to take down the pot preflop?

with 5 left as the big stack:

raise the tight mid stacks.
play tight against the call stations.
gamble with the tiny stacks.
Sweet talk the guy to your left and he'll be less likly to call your steals.
Don't limp!
