Default a keeper?

me: i just had an insanely strong feeling
me: i dind't really have a real read
me: i was 3 tabling and watching iseinfeld
me: but this guy checkriased on the turn
me: and i just really really really felt reraising was the best idea
me: when usually in that spot i wouldn't
me: i had QQ and the board was T9x7 with a turned flushdraw me: and he checkraised
me: and i went with my gut and reraised
me: and i wias right
me: sadly the river was a J so now i lose to JT, T9, and 8
me: so i checked behind on the river
me: and he turned over A7 for a pair and a busted flush draw
me: it was probably teh strongest "feeling" i've ever had playing

girlfriend: what was he doing playing A7?

She's probably a keeper. When she says "come on, against fish that will play that kind of trash that far you need to value bet the river with an overpair" you will know for certain.

My wife would've said something more like "What the hell was he doing playing A7? Now shut up and let's watch the football game."

Either way, they're both definitely keepers. Nice catch.

Keeper? The last thing I want is my wife sticking her nose into things like my poker game. I predict this poker support will slowly evolve into her nagging your every move, just like they do with everything else.

my fiance would have bet the river hard since she check raised the turn and the river was a scare card.

yours is a keeper, but don't put her in a game with my girl.
