AQs. My new PF line and subsequent ass kicking.
Opponent may have been tilting due to someone filling up on his flush and he was fairly shortstacked, as you will see below.

Maybe you're good and maybe you're not. *shrug* I can't find any fault.

No issues...nice hand. Read on the raiser would be good.

That's a pretty easy 3-bet if he's that short stacked. Nice hand.

I know you said he "may" have been tilting however with out a specific read on UTG+1, I would fold pre-flop. I sometimes get the impression that players overvalue A Q, especially when confronted with a early preflop raise.

Being suited helps AQs tremendously. Both being suited and having position mitigates the times you're up against AK and AA-QQ.
There are games where AQs should hit the muck--no telling if this is one of them, but probably not. |

Jim [/ QUOTE ] I agree completely, but when my opponent only has 3sb left and I have a chance to isolate with AQs I'll 3-bet this preflop everytime. |

Being suited helps AQs tremendously. [/ QUOTE ] How are you going to make up your implied odds against a raiser with no money and a field that's already folded? |

[/ QUOTE ] TAGs generally don't start a hand with only 5 SBs. Therefore, I'm inclined to think that villian is not a TAG and is likely to be raising with a hand worse than AQs, especially considering he may be tilting. So, with these things considered, it's an easy, easy 3-bet. |

Yes, you have a high chance of winning a small, all-in, heads-up pot if you 3-bet. No, it's not because it's suited.
