Default monitor resolution

Can someone please remind me what minimum resolution is needed to allow 4 tables with no overlap? What screen size does this correlate to (19 inch)?

thanks

Hey there. You have to run a resolution of 1600x1200 or greater to see 4 tables at once with no (or minimal) overlap).

Most 19" CRT monitors allow you to run 1600x1200. I would recommend a 21" CRT or This LCD monitor (1600x1200 native resolution).

Hope this helps.

You need to set your monitor to 1600x1200 resolution to play 4 tables with no overlap. Each Party Poker window is 800x600 pixels FWIW.

This can be done with any monitor capable of 1600x1200 resolution. Almost no LCDs 19" and below support this resolution.

OTOH, there are many 17" CRT monitors that can support 1600x1200 resolution (more common with 19"+ CRTs).

The bigger the monitor the easier it will be to see your 4 tables at 1600x1200 resolution.

Samsung SyndMaster 1100DF is a good monitor for the money it cost. Its 21 inch and can run 1600*1200@85+hz, it can also run at even higher resolusions.

So, does anyone recommend any notebooks to consider buying? Do they make any with the 1600x1200 resolution for a notebook?

I considered the Dell 8600 to replace my existing computer.

Thread here. Runs 1920x1200 so easily 4 tables. Get the 17" version if you can afford.
