Default Correct fold?

Very tight $3/6 Kill game, though there are two calling stations.

Hero is MP2 with 89o

The kill is on. Kill poster is SB.

UTG calls, UTG1 (calling station 1) calls, MP1 (calling station 2) calls, Hero folds...

Given the tightness of the table, I figure that aside from the calling stations and BB, most everyone else will fold, meaning I will have the button if I call or raise. This assumption also give me 5:1 on a call.

However, 98o only makes a straight and is a pretty crappy hand, especially with people to act behind.

Naturally, if I had played the hand I would have won the pot, hence I am posting so that I can get assurances that I did the correct thing by folding.

Yeah, good fold, but the fact that you were even considering calling ewith 98o means you need to do some more studying.
