Default Party 25NL KK hand, comment

Ok, the big set up.
The past 3 hands that I've been dealt I've won all 3 of them. Each time I had a pocket pair, first time I got trips and turned a boat taking donator's stack (he got a straight on the river I believe). Donator liked to talk smack and pick on people with his bets, and I kept waiting for the time to strike and have taken his stack three times to this point. his preflop stats were something like 68% VP$IP, 38+ PFR. Laggy's VP$IP were similiar, but only a 10% PFR.
Donators raise hands were loose, and I had seen Laggy re-raise with some suspect hands.

Was this bad preflop? I suspect it was, but at this level I feel KK is an all-in Preflop hand if you can make it happen.

I'm guessing someone had AA or else you wouldn't have posted this.

Anyways the popular belief is to never fold AA preflop in 50bb (well, I mean "laggy" did have 80) stack NL unless you have absolutely overwhelming evidence that there is no way he would do this with anything less than AA. Also given that its $25nl you are more likely to be up against crap.

Just remember you are more likely to be shown total crap than AA.

I agree, I dont usually start folding my AA pre-flop until 100 BB's. At this point I know that AA will lose, because Ace's never hold up.

Neithor of them had AA.
I actually won the hand with the Kings.

was just curious if, at this level, there was reason enough to not push the KK preflop, or should I just call and see what hit the flop.

After I pushed I questioned weather that was the best play or not, that's all.

You are weak Sly.. If the stack is around 100xBB its a mandatory all-in.. But if you have built your stack to around 200-300xBB then I think folding AA is good..

At Party NL 25 I'm always more than happy to get all my money in with K K before the flop and against these 2 lags I would be jumping up and down of joy when they called me. Against these 2 I'm not calling the re-raise to $5 in the first place, I'd make it $20 right there, hoping to be raised.

Yesterday I had a similar situation w/ K K. re-re-re-re-raised all in w/ 200xBB stack, got called by one 120XBB stack and one 50XBB stack, they show me A 3o and A Qo. You will be shown A A only a small percentage of the time IMO.
