I'm wondering if I should adjust my play here or if I should just chalk these up to getting rivered.
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ Hero (6 max, 6 handed) converter Button ($11.6) SB ($24.01) Hero ($19.5) UTG ($30.9) MP ($39.8) CO ($57.1) Preflop: Hero is BB with 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.25. UTG calls $0.50, MP calls $0.50, CO calls $0.50, Button folds, SB (poster) completes, Hero checks. In my own analysis I probably should've pushed on the turn in the first hand. In the second hand I didn't push turn since villian had such a small stack, I figured he'd just push against a $5 bet -- not that it matters, neither of us was going to fold the river for 1.55

You need to be more agressive overall, and I'd bet out that first flop.

I was rivered in both cases, the four and the queen gave the other two people two pair of their own (with aces being the other pair).
Anymore discussion? |

Those weak turn bets, especially with a backdoor flush draw, are . . . um . . . weak.
