Really crappy position
I complete from the small blind with QJ of hearts early in a $20 Pokerroom SNG. Players seem to be pretty loose in general--one is an absolute idiot/maniac, but they were not in this hand.
Flop is J-10-6... 10 and 6 are diamonds. What's your move? |

Re: Really crappy position
I cant see this being ANYTHING but trouble. You are, what, 50 bucks into the pot? Check/fold. You will get a better place than THAT for your money.
How you like those new graphics? I miss the big boobs, personally. Im illa5th, playing now, whats your username? I'll play a 20 with ya. PM me? |

Re: Really crappy position
Check/fold If it's checked around, and on the turn there is a late mini bet... I'd think about a reraise if I was positive the guy was LAG

Re: Really crappy position
How early is early? Level 1? 2? 3?
and how many people limped in? If it's a small field, and not level 1 I might set out a pot sized bet, or half pot bet (depending on actual pot size). I would fold to any agression, and only bet out on the turn if I'm called by 1 and it's a blank. In a big field (5 or more people) I like check/fold. Please try to mention important info like - stack sizes, blind size, people to the flop, etc. It helps us make a good analysis. |
