Who has a machine with good performance and MT setup?
Does anyone have a machine with good performance with:
- 4 tables at once, - XP Pro, - PlayerView, - and Poker Tracker sucking in new hands every 5 minutes? If so, I'd like to know what your processor and ram are. Thanks, Justin |

Re: Who has a machine with good performance and MT setup?
I have a P4 3.0 Ghz and 1.0 MB of Ram that handles:
Win XP MCE SP2 8 tables Playerview Pokertracker-Importing every 2 minutes MC TV A couple IE explorer windows Kazaa And an Excel Application I think it is more the RAM than the processor. I think anything 2.0 GHZ and up with 512 of RAM should do. Orange |

Re: Who has a machine with good performance and MT setup?
What's playerview?
I used to have a P4 2.4 with 512 of ram, and now a Sempron 3100+ with 512 of ram, with the Dell 2001fp, runs 4 tables perfectly, does the poker tracker thing, (though when I import say, 40 tournaments at once, it does do the whole "not responding thing" but that just means "wait") as well as well, any old program I tell it to. Honestly, the poker tables don't take much at all to run, they just take screen space to house. citanul |

Re: Thanks.
My P4 2.4 with 768MB ram handles 4 tables importing every 2 minutes no problem. I think that a good harddrive is also important. I have a WD 7200 w/ 8MB cache, but I'm sure there's faster SATA drives out there at this point.
I think RAM & HD makea bigger difference than processor for multitabling. Freakin |
