Default AQ heads up

playing heads up no limit 5$ buy in, I'm up to 7$ villain is up to 9$ (it had been 6 handed earlier). Blinds are .10/.20. Villain is WAY too agressive. He tends to bet a lot into small pots so I've been giving him a lot of hands and then when I make something good slowplaying it all the way.

villain finishes his small blind
I bet .60 cents with AQ
villain calls

flop is
58Q rainbow
villain checks (an unusual play for him)
I check behind him
turn is
7 finishes the rainbow
villain bets 2$
I raise all in
he calls
river is another 7

What do you guys think? Was the all in stupid? how about the check on the flop? To give more background information. I have seen this guy go all in with a straight draw before. He has also told me that if you have a straight draw or a flush draw on the flop you have a 50% chance of making it (I didn't correct him). What do you all think of this hand?

I'd bet the flop and be ready to go all-in if check-raised. If he out-flopped you, fine, but don't give a free card when your hand is vulnerable.

my thinking here was that I could induce a bluff...possibly a very large one
