Default some numbers

i won't even disguise this post as a bad beat one(it is)

I'm down over 400bb in the last month.

What bothers me most is the way im geting it.

4 card flush boards
4 card str8 boards

I'm certainly playing tight enough after the first -150bb.
14%-16% vpip

My real question is on the probability of these type boards.
I saw 5... 4 flush boards "today"
and 4...4 straight boards
to beat my 2 pair and several AA KK hands.

I've accepted the downswing...I'm more interested in the math.

This isn't a downswing. You are playing extremely poorly. There is more to poker than playing uber-tight.

4 flush boards happen roughly 8% of the time (I believe 2% per suit). 5 flush boards happen roughly 2% of the time.

Thank you for the percentage.
