Default AQo, TPTK hand, too aggressive? As bad as i think?

Final Pot: 16 BB

Should I go into check call mode after the flop or is that too weak...I have no reads on the player as this is an early hand, but its still hard to imagine him capping here on the flop w/ just a Q that i beat or a draw. He most certainly doesnt have a random two pair or a pair and a flush draw. The turn play is really questionable in my mind especially once he raises. He didnt 3 bet preflop so AK/KK which are his only somewhat logical holdings im ahead of im ahead of are unlikely. The threebet on my part there i feel like is a clear mistake...

Results in white:

JMP300z shows [ Qc, As ] two pairs, aces and queens.
ijcspeedy shows [ 8s, 8c ] three of a kind, eights.

I call down after I get raised on the turn.

BTW, don't post results along w/your hand.

I probably would have played the flop the same. After the flop I put him on two-pair (q8) or a set (88), I'd bet out on the turn and call the raise, not 3-bet. He's more likely to coldcall preflop with 88 than q8. I'd probably check the river but I would like to bet the river.
