Default Overcards out of position... again

Button is new to the table but after about 10 hands appears to be a LAG. Not a maniac, but is playing over 1/3 of his hands and raising PF with half of those. Plays aggressively PF also. Does the flop raise make sense?

Hello commadore,

I like the flop check raise.

I do not like the turn bet, especially after he raised your check raise. You should want to pay only one big bet to see the river, not two big bets.

From the description that you have given, I'd be more inclined to check/call the turn. Given the action, I doubt ace-high is going to take this pot down, and he's surely not folding to a turn bet. Check call, then check fold the river unimproved.

(EDIT: gah, Mike always beats me to it.)

How am I going to get my PokerTracker aggression number up by calling? Check calling the turn does make more sense. Thanks.

You mean you like the turn bet after he got raised on his flop check raise?

He should have check called the turn. A free card will not hurt him, he most likely needs to catch a heart to win.

As others have said, check-call the flop. Check-raise the river if you hit your flush, bet out if you hit your A.

I like the flop c/r.

Turn is a problem:
After being 3-bet, you gotta check/call that turn card.
If it's a 10 instead on the turn, I would still check/call, check/call.
If it's an ace, I go check/call, bet/call a raise.

IF he hits a 10 on river, you bet out? or still check, call?
