I would have folded on the flop. It's such a weak holding; it's possible that you are already beaten. If not, your hand is quite vulnerable to getting beat on the turn or river. There are straight draws and flush draws on the board. Your opponent may also have overcards. So many ways for you to get beaten (if you're not already beaten).

I assume you raised on the flop in order to make your opponent fold. When he didn't (and didn't reraise you all-in), you have to assume he has something.

It's quite possible that the SB was drawing to the flush, and decided to try a bluff on the river when he didn't hit it. However, your hand is too weak to stand up to a bluff. I would definitely fold.

Gives it up and folds.

It's not that I don't like the raise on the flop, it's the check on the turn that bothers me. I would have bet the pot (800t) on the flop and if called fired again on the turn.More than likely that five didn't help him and you check behind gives him an easier read on your hand. Your check gave control to the SB and he took advantage of it.

Without knowing the Sb's previous play, I wouldn't fear a sneaky limp with an overpair or a TP bigger kick. He had the chips and 1/2 bet (900t into 1800t) the pot on a scare card. I think you could have lost him and won on the turn if you would have fired again.
