Default Bad push or bad call?

Been having a bad run on SNGs lately. Am looking for some feedback on some of my questionable plays. Blinds are 150/300, 4 players. Folded to me in the SB, I push with A-2, called by A-5 which holds up.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t300 (4 handed) converter

BB (Villain) (t1140)
UTG (t3695)
Button (t1905)
Hero (t1260)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
UTG folds, Button folds, Hero raises to t1260 (All-In), BB (Villain) calls t840 (All-In).

Flop: (t2400) 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players, 2 all-in)

Turn: (t2400) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players, 2 all-in)

River: (t2400) A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players, 2 all-in)

Final Pot: t2400

Given that we were both about even stacks, I thought that would give me some folding equity. On the other hand, he's got to call $840 to win $1,600 so getting 2:1 he's got pretty good odds to call. Anyone think pushing with A-2 here is clearly wrong? Given the calling odds he's got do I need to wait for a better hand? How about BB calling with A-5? I like my push better than his call, but am interested in any other players thoughts.

The push and call are both very standard. Nobody did anything wrong.

Push.

1. You have an A
2. You are attacking the other moderate stack on the bubble, you definately have some folding equity
3. In a couple of hands the blinds will eat up close to half of your stack
4. The blinds will hit you before they hit the villain

There are other reasons I could think of, but with those stack sizes, reason #1 is sufficient.

Yup. Especially with those stack sizes. I mean, you could debate the call if the BB had something like 8-12BB, but that's not case.

Thanks all. I thought this play was ok, but I'm just trying to double-check my judgement since I've been losing a bit.

I would have made either play in approximately 0.05 seconds. You did fine but didn't win this time (in a way, he got lucky not to split the pot and lose 75 chips). Next tournament...
