Default Is this play +EV?

I just sat down at the table. From watching the last hands, the blinds seem tightish but my sample size is obviously WAY small. The guy on my left is severely short-stacked (sitting with 1.625BB).

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is CO with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Hero posts a blind of $2.
UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, MP1 folds, MP2 folds, MP3 folds, Hero (poster) raises...

Yup. Raise it up. I has 72o in same situation last night and raised.....Of course I was called in 2 spots and the flop came down something like A J T or something.
