Default Thanks to Mr. Sucker and El Diablo (with a nod to HDPM)

Just ordered two bottles of Syrah from Testarossa vineyard that will be sent directly to the old homestead.

And armed with El's list of recommend champagnes, I'm off tomorrow to a local spirits place to try and get some great Moet, Laurent Perrier, or Veuve Cliquot for my Families Christmas Eve Dinner.

At the moment I'm polishing off a bottle of rather good, if not excellent, Cabernet (Robert Mondavi private selection: on sale) that I included with my dinner of porterhouse steak and asparagus

I'm feeling grand and wonder how anyone on 2+2 could even compare with the ever modest, witty, and handsome Zeno. No one, methinks. Too bad for all of you.

I’ll report my champagne findings tomorrow.

Actually, if I'm not mistaken, current trends dictate that we 'drink straight shots instead of poppin' Cris.'

I could be wrong though.

It's Cristal, not Cristol.

And if spending big on bubbly is your goal, Krug and Salon are better choices.

you can only drink straight shots if you buy out the bar, otherwise its a case of yak with the 3 bottle of cris, come on dizzle.
