How fast did you move up to 10/20 or 15/30?

Just curious how fast people were able to start playing limit, and move up to the higher stakes games like 10/20 or 15/30 online. I'm talking a winning player too. Someone who won at each level and kept moving up to the high stakes games.

thought 4-8 was easy for aweek, then 8-16, thought i was a pro with my 1500$ roll, sat 15-30 went bust lol, grinded again and back in 2 more weeks, ran real well and never looked back, i think going bust is a good thing for u though, its a reality check and made me study harder, as do all big losses

6 months of playing real money to get to 15/30...playing 1 table on pacific with 3 games of party 3/6. 2 months of that before multitabling 15/30 party.

I ran well and got lucky.

So you started at 3/6? What type of bankroll? Would you have been able to move up successfully faster with a larger starting bankroll?

Ive been playing a year and am only playing 5/10. I live on what I make tho, I think if I was in college or had a job it could be different. I've taken shots at the 15/30 already now, but if I had the roll (like I would if I was in college) who knows I could have had a good run and be playing there permenantly.

no snowbank, i started at .5/1 and played that for about 8k hands or something.

No, i sucked, no way i coulda moved up with a bigger role. I almost busted out from the 2/4 and 3/6. As I said to another player about moving up, i got to 2700 up at one point and dropped to 700. I then went back to .5/1 to get my confidence/learn the game/not go bust.

My question for being a newbie, is how much was your original bankroll? I would love to be at those levels, but my bankroll is still unstable!

how much tighter do the tables get as u increase the stakes? im playing $3 and $6 and have the br to move up but am scared that the players there are much better
