Labrador Retrievers
There seem to be two looks. One are the stouter, more barrel-chested, shorter-snouted labs. The other type is somewhat leaner and has a longer snout. Some do kinda fall in between or have feature of both. My Doc has a chest on him, but otherwise fits the leaner type. I've always been partial to the longer snout. What does anyone else thinks makes for a more beautiful lab?

Shorter Labs have less knee and hip problems. [/ QUOTE ] In general yes. But that has a lot to do with where you get them. Bloodlines, etc. And I'd never get a lab that didn't have its hips certified. |
