MTT Rookie needs help
I am a very green HE rookie. I have only played about 10,000 hands of limit ring games and have tried a few NLHE freerolls and can usually make it into the top 25% of the players before busting out.
I have a chance to play in the 100K freeroll for new players at Empire on December 18, My question is -- What one or two books would you recommend for a complete NL rookie to study over the next two weeks that would maximize my chances to finish ITM? |

Re: MTT Rookie needs help
Hi-
I am in the same boat so use salt with this data. I read 'Championship No-Limit & Pot-Limit Hold'em' by TJ Cloutier & Tom McEvoy. You might start with 'No-Limit Texas Hold'em', 'the new player series' by Brad Daugherty & Tom McEvoy. All of that after HEP and HEPFAP. Good luck and persevere. Geoff |
