Harvey's is really the only place to play in tahoe. I do believe harrah'shas a room, but it is terrible, usually no one even plying (at least the last few times i was in Tahoe, though it has been a while).

In Reno, I have always liked the Hilton, though it is a bit away from the main downtown area. Other posters can give you better info on the Reno casinos, and a simple search on thisforum should get you a few threads from just within the last few weeks.

I was up in Tahoe this past weekend and Harrah's does not have a poker room. They said they moved it over to Harvey's, which is where I played. Good place to play on the evenings/weekends.

Also the Horizon had a "room" but it was more like a hole in the wall. They were running small NL tourneys and a $2/$6 spread. Good luck!

Good games in Tahoe are hard to come by. Reno has lots of poker rooms. During my visits I have found the El Dorado to be the best for low limit good action holdem. The Hilton is the place to play during Pot of Gold Tournaments. I don't like the Peppermill or Cal Neva. The smoke is really bad.
