Default Was this play way too weak?

Sat. 200k qual at PP, op 12 make it, Im a short stack wth about 45 left. My only reason for folding is because I thought I would have a better oppurtunity than this to double up. WHat do you think?

Why did you check the flop? You need to protect your very mediocre holding.

I figured someone for an over pair for sure, knowing I was beat, I didn't think I should bet. Is that weak too? When an under cards hits the turn, I gotta think I have the best of it.

After that very weak flop I would have bet the pot and tried to win it right there. Unless they are limping in with 22,77,88 or A8, you are probably ahead.

If Janron was on a flush draw, you just gave him a free card by not betting the flop.

push allin on the flop. youre committed to this hand so betting the pot is pointless when someone could easily have an OESD on this type of board.
