Re: Young players (25 and under) what is your BR?
How the f*** does someone with less that 4 years of experience in legal gambling get a 15k bankroll?
I thought I was doin ok with a 2k... This is a sincere question, what limits did you start playing? what do you play now? did you just read a few books and play well enough to climb up the ranks, learning more as you go? Basically, what I'm asking is how do I get my bankroll up to 15k ????? Btw, I play nl ring games, is there easier money to be had in limit games perhaps? |

Re: Young players (25 and under) what is your BR?
the money is in limit.
played poker for a long time before i decided to get serious about learning the game. about 3 years ago i decide to learn the game and read the books. bought theory of poker and holdem for advanced players. started playing 1/2, moved up to 2/4, then started playing shorthanded games. 5/10, 10/20, built up a serious bankroll, and used it to pay for college and random hedonistic pleasures. graduated college in may, used my BR to pay off tuition (no student loans). then i started the building process again, started with 2/4, 3/6, 5/10 shorthanded. i'm actually still playing 5/10 6 max on party even though my bankroll is currently $25,000+. i'll move up again someday, but right now i'm in no rush. $125/hr 4 tabling is a good rate. |

21 total votes. Everything at 100%. How does a poll even get jacked up like this?
