Ok, on general principles I assume this is a scam, but what kind of a scam is it? Anyone know?

It's promoting a dead site, which I won't even name.
The guy is a known spammer so can be safely ignored. Lori |

probably a phone scam, call that number and rack up a $20 phone bill.
Any time you see a 900-series area code and an offer that looks too good to be true, that's the catch. Regards, Gar |

Word to the wise:
*** You are ignoring this user *** He's pimping his phone number in several of the forums. Any chance we can get him out of here? edit: FWIW The number he's posting is a Xenia, Ohio exchange registered to a wireless band. Intelius indicates that the phone number was registered 11/1/04. |
